WHAT IS GIRLFRIENDS?

Girlfriends Unlimited is a worldwide women’s ministry program ultimately focused on building and strengthening women’s relationships with Jesus.  We find that for women this happens best in relationships with other girlfriends.  At SCC Girlfriends, we seriously focus on having fun, building friendships, and strengthening our relationship with Jesus.

Our ministry looks different, sounds different, and feels different than any other women’s ministry.  It is current, fresh, and made for today’s woman.  SCC Girlfriends casts a new vision for reaching and connecting women and is filled with fun and energy.  We will laugh again and again!  We will grow spiritually and emotionally and live with purpose and significance.

SCC Girlfriends is all about changing hearts, changing lives, one girlfriend at a time.  We have a passion to see each woman become all that God created her to be:  nothing more, nothing less.

That is why we choose as our theme verse Eph. 3:20 which says, “God is able to do far more than we could ever ask for or imagine.  He does everything in His power that is working in us.”

WHAT’S IT LIKE?

What’s it like to be involved in SCC Girlfriends?  Fun! Fun! Fun!  And more Fun!  Throughout the year we’ll come together for large, themed events where we’ll let our hair down, pamper ourselves, try something new or old, and just have fun.

We have shared-interest groups called G! Groups to pursue that special talent you have or desire to have.  Do you wish you had a Girlfriend who would join you for a movie?  Wouldn’t it be fun to scrapbook or sew with some girlfriends?  Or chat about your favorite book over a latte or tea.  SCC Girlfriends has a variety of shared interest groups for our ladies.

What to do next—ask yourself, what do I like to do or what would I like to learn?  Then join in a G! Group with

other girlfriends like you!  There is no better time than now.  It is not a membership.  All girlfriends (ages 18-108) are welcome.  Don’t wait —Join us!
