CAMP MINISTRY

IDENTIFYING SCRIPTURE:

TEACH A CHILD TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT PATH AND WHEN HE IS OLDER HE WILL REMAIN UPON IT. - PROVERBS 22:6

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The camp ministry exists to represent Indian Lake Christian Service Camp where young people receive religious education, training, and fellowship in a Christian setting.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Provide representation for Severn Christian Church by attending bi-annual Board of Directors Meetings held at Indian Lake Christian Camp.

2. Provide information for participation in volunteer opportunities at camp.

3. Encourage financial support to the camp through attendance of camp sponsored events and giving through the 120 Club.

4. Pray for Board of Directors, Camp Staff, summer youth campers, and volunteers.

5. Recruit workers for camp-related programs and ministries.
